Angelus (1756-1998?)
Born in Ireland, Angelus was a carouser by nature and severely allergic to work of any kind. However, up to any
challenge, he accepted the invitation of a mysterious, dangerous and exciting woman named Darla. Drawn to her beauty,
he realized too late that she was a vampire and became her night's companion. They stayed together for many decades,
parting only to reunite. At the turn of the century in Budapest, they spent the disaster the earthquake brought
feeding off the lost innocents. In the late eighteenth-century, Angelus met a young man known as William in whom he
saw promise. He made him a vampire and thus Spike was born. Soon after, Angelus became obsessed with a chaste, pure
woman named Drusilla. He tormented her, murdered her family, drove her insane and then turned her into a vampire.
The three became the scourge of the underworld and wreaked havoc on two continents; even though Angelus preferred
often to hunt alone. In 1898, just after the incident in Budapest, Angelus made the mistake of feeding off of a
beautiful (but "dumb as a post") gypsy girl. Her grief-stricken father ordered the clan's most powerful gypsy to
curse him ... and so she did. She restored his soul so that he could spend the next century in moral torment. Angelus
became Angel and fled to the New World, where he pulled a Louis in the streets of New York, until Whistler, a good but
apathetic, demon found him and convinced him that he could becomes someone. Angel discovered that he wished to help
the new Slayer, Buffy Summers, and thus begun his transformation into Cryptic Guy. Darla once again came into his life
in attempt to get him to rejoin her and the Master; a plot that ended in her death by her son's hands. Soon
after, Angel met up with Spike and Drusilla, only to realize that his oldest friends had become his mortal enemies.
His fateful relationship with Buffy culminated in an act of love that transformed him back into the evil Angelus.
Devastated, Buffy had to hunt down her love after he killed several people, including Jenny Calendar. All ended in
tragedy when Angel had his soul restored once again only to end up banished to the netherworld by Buffy. After
returning from hell with the feral mentality of an animal, Angel was finally restored to himself but then had to
live with the new guilt of having killed again (especially Jenny Calendar) and benig near Buffy but never being
able to touch her. Thus, he left Sunnydale for Los Angeles to help the underdogs of the world.
And I did it with a song in my heart.

Darla (c. 1500s?)
Darla was Angelus' sire. There is no direct
connection between her and Spike but in the episode Angel, Darla states that she and Angel hung around quite a
bit and it would be strange indeed if Darla and Spike never met. Darla was a favorite of the Master during their last
days.
Close your eyes.

Drusilla (c. 1860?)
Drusilla was a good Cockney Englishwoman who wanted to devote her life to the Church and Good. However, she was cursed
with the ability to see beyond the norm and her powers branded her as an evil thing -- the spawn of Satan. However,
she had the unfortunate luck of attracting, by virtue of her virtue, the attention of Angelus, an evil vampire. He
became obsessed with her and her purity. He convinced her that she was a demon's spawn and killed her family,
including her beloved uncle. She fled to a convent where she studied to become a nun and gain some peace. However,
Angelus completed his torture of her by turning her into a vampire -- on the very night she took her vows as a bride
of Christ. Finally tumbling into insanity, Drusilla became a psychotic vampire and -- when Angelus had his soul
restored -- wholly dependent on Spike. She began to rely on him for everything -- even food -- when she was almost
killed by a mob in Prague. She regained her strength during the ritual with her sire in 1997/1998 and forewith took
great care of Spike, who had been injured. She was a pivotal part of the plots to wrek destruction on the world using
the Judge and Acathla the demon and only intervention by 1) Buffy and 2) Spike prevented her from realzing that
destructive dream. She wholeheartedly embraced Angelus when he returned in demon form and all but forgot everything
Spike had done for her. She was knocked unconscious and dragged from Sunnydale by Spike after she had attacked him for
betraying Angelus to Buffy. While in South America, she ditched Spike for becoming soft (it was the alliance with
Buffy that did it). Her whereabouts are currently unknown.
Kill her, Spike. Kill her for Princess?

Harmony (c. 1981)
Harmony Kendall, once a member of the Cordettes at Sunnydale High, was vamped during graduation day ceremony. Soon after, she
met up with Spike and fell in love with him, got dumped by him, was reunited with him and then got dumped again
(I think). She's a bit of a twit, but definitely better as a vamp then she was as a real person. Real being the
operative word.
He was my platinum baby and I loved him.

Marcus (?-1999)
Marcus was a vampire pedaphile with pretensions to the Spanish Inquisition. Spike's motivations for joining forces
with Marcus are clear but the morals behind it are questionable. This alliance was, in my opinion, the only
really dumb move Spike has ever made.
Creatures with souls have something to lose.

Penn (c. 1800-2000)
Penn was of a Puritan family when Angel turned him into a vampire. Here we enter the Land of Supposition.
It is practically inconceivable that Spike did not know Penn, since 99% of all Spike episodes imply that Spike,
Dru and Angel were inseparable when they were all blood-sucking evil vamps. Penn was a product of an abusive father and
when Angelus turned him into a vamp the first thing he did was slaughter his family (which seems to be a tradition in
the House of Angelus). Later, when Angel didn't show up for their meeting in Prague, Penn continued to be a serial
killer until being caught by good-guy Angel in 2000 who killed him.
